Meet The Residents

Lacie & Stacie
Residents since April 2025
Lacie (black hat) Stacie (brown hat) were surrendered too us in a Jacks fast food parking lot in a tiny fried chicken take out box. These small gals were too small to integrate with the flock at their previous home and we knew our small but mighty rooster would look out for them! While still skittish of people these two have joined into our small Bantam flock seamlessly. Lacie is brave and adores dust baths, and Stacie is Griff’s shadow, following him everywhere (getting first dibs on all the yummy treats he digs up). These gorgeous girls lace-like plumage is excellent camouflage in the field and we’ve enjoyed playing “spot the ‘acies”

Bridget
Resident since April 2025
Bridget came to Farm to Stable after being rescued from a hoarding situation, where she lived without access to proper bedding or space to thrive. She was one of ten piggies who were all given a second chance at life—and we’re so grateful she’s now part of our family.
When she first arrived, Bridget was very fearful and skittish, which sadly resulted in an injury to her front leg. But with time, patience, and love, she’s slowly learning that she’s safe and cared for here. Watching her personality emerge has been such a joy!
Bridget adores carrots, all kinds of squash, and snuggling up in her blankets. She tolerates scratches in small doses and is happiest when she’s close to her beloved brother, Benji. She’s not a big fan of her leafy greens or being separated from him!
Bridget is a reminder of the resilience of animals when given the chance to heal. We’re honored to provide her the forever home she deserves

Charles
Resident since March 2025
Charles, lovingly known as Chuck, emerged from a harrowing experience that shattered his world—he was the lone survivor of a brutal attack where all his herd mates were taken from him by dogs. Yet, this resilient and spirited boy refuses to let the shadows of his past dictate his future. With an undeniable zest for life, he delights in the sweet taste of blueberries, finds joy in the thrill of being up high, and craves the warmth of cozy hay-filled cuddles. Our hearts are overflowing with joy and gratitude to welcome him into our lives.

Benjamin
Resident since April 2025
Benji arrived at Farm to Stable alongside his sister Bridget after being rescued from a hoarding situation. Like Bridget, he had never known comfort, clean bedding, or consistent care—but today, he’s thriving in his forever home.
From the start, Benji has been a gentle, comforting presence. He absolutely lives for sweet potatoes, the occasional animal cracker treat, and cozy cuddle sessions with Bridget. The two are inseparable, and their bond is something truly special to witness.
Benji isn’t too fond of his green veggies, and he definitely prefers to stay dry when it’s raining!
Benji reminds us daily how love and safety can transform a life. We’re so lucky to have him as part of our sanctuary family.

Meet Dexter!
Resident since March 2025
Dexter, or Dex as we lovingly call him, came to us from a homestead that didn’t see his worth — they let him go simply because he “wasn’t cuddly enough.” But oh, how wrong they were.
Since arriving at the sanctuary, Dex has blossomed into a confident, spunky soul who keeps us laughing every day. His personality is as big as his love for treats, grazing in the tallest grass he can find, and playfully pestering his best buddy Charles (someone’s gotta keep Charles on his hooves, right)?
Dex also has a special bond with Winnie the dog — though he’s still figuring out what exactly he’s supposed to do with her squeaky toys, their playful friendship is a joy to watch.
He’s one of our lucky ones — arriving young and healthy, with a whole life ahead of him surrounded by love, care, and sanctuary safety. We can’t wait to see him grow and thrive for years to come.

Griffin
Resident since March 2025
Griffin is such a kind and protective soul! He can be a bit shy around new people, but with a little gentle encouragement and some tasty treats, he really opens up. I can’t wait to see him blossom and really come out of his shell! Bonded with Gracie they joined our family from a home that could no longer keep them.

Gracie
Resident since March 2025
Gracie is our little sweetheart! She adores treats, loves a good petting session, and has a knack for digging up bugs. Though she’s small, she definitely knows how to take charge around here! Bonded with Griffin they joined our family from a home that could no longer keep them.

Alice
15yo
Our resident “Grumpy Cat”. But don’t let her RBF fool you, she is a sweetheart who loves to cuddle, and just wants to sleep on a sunny porch. Our only non rescue, she has been with Sydney since she was a teenager.

Frenchie
12 yo
A forever kitten, don’t be alarmed if you see a small white fuzzball run by you at mache speeds. Frenchie while wild, is a loving and empathetic cat. Abandoned with her mom and siblings at a park as kitten she has become a part of our family.

Titus
9 yo
He will probably be the first to greet you if you visit the sanctuary. Our resident extrovert has never met a person he doesn’t like. Titus came to us from an abusive home and has not let that stop him from being a brave and adventurous little man.

Winnie
3 yo
She was found in the woods in May of 2024. Jay & Syd spent many months gaining her trust with lots of treats and patience. Eventually she let them close enough to put a collar on and take her to the vet. The rest is history. She is now happily integrated into the family and even has multiple couches to choose from for her naps. She is very protective of her family unit that is expanding every day.
